"THE BEST DAY IN SCHOOL.....EVER"

Finally a show using NO LIVE ANIMALS

Visiting schools across the UK

Transform your school into a trip around the world where learning about animals becomes fun and full of laughter. Your school can experience the likes of Polar bears, baby elephants, skunks and even a mighty gorilla up close and personal.

The Animal Guyz® are the UK’s leading and original animal show with NO LIVE ANIMALS. Working with well know brands such as Butlin’s, WWF, P&O Cruises, Norwegian Cruises and their sell out UK theatre tour, The Animal Guyz bring a heartwarming and educational 45-minute show, perfect for all KS1 & KS2 students, straight to your school hall.

The show takes students around the world, introducing them to wonderful creatures both big and small. This is a show packed full of audience participation and thought-provoking questions which will leave students not only entertained but also motivated to go into our world caring more about the animals and environment around them.

Our package is designed as a 45-minute show – perfect for any assembly hall. This can be followed

by a 30-minute animal meet and greet, allowing the students (and teachers) to get closer to the animals and for the

school to take any photographs they may wish to. We are flexible and happy to discuss the best way

for this to work in your setting.

We have designed this show to fit perfectly in line with the national curriculum. Some main points we  cover are –

Animal Classifications – From fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals, we teach students how to classify animals from all around the world and their different diets such as herbivores, omnivores and

carnivores.

Habitats – We showcase UK wildlife such as badgers, bees and minibeasts, their habitats and what we can do

to protect these, as well as the effects of issues such as deforestation on orangutans and melting ice caps on

polar bears and how students can help with global conservation.

Human impacts – We educate students about how issues as littering can affect environments and the wildlife living within them. We motivate students to take an active part in helping their local environment. We will introduce them to a pangolin, the most trafficked mammal in the world, and learn how these creatures have become endangered through poaching and habitat loss.

We will also present how changes to our every day lives can help

animals further afield, for example how checking food packaging for sustainable palm oil can help keep orangutan families together.

Animal adaptions – We will explore some of the ways that animals have adapted to be able to

protect themselves from natural threats such as weather systems and predators.

Our aim is to leave your students with an excitement for animals, their local environmentand a passion for local and global conservation.

SCHOOL REVIEWS

It's not always easy to explain what we do how we do it as it is so different to conventional learning. However, have a read through some reviews received after some of our school visits.
